Gwinnett Tech’s Commercial Photography Graduating Seniors Display Work at Art Show
View the best of the best at a portfolio presentation by commercial photography graduating seniors from Gwinnett Technical College.
Gwinnett Tech's 2007 commercial photography graduating seniors will be displaying their portrait, still life, photo journalism, landscape and fine art projects at a portfolio presentation on Saturday, September 8, at the ART Station in Stone Mountain.
Portfolios will be available for viewing from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the presentation on September 8. The Best Portfolio by Claudia Winter, and three other top honors by Steve Bruno, Jessica Robinson and Nicole Olauson will be featured presentations at the event.
The show runs through October 28 at the ART Station. Prints of the photography will be available for sale.
"This show represents two years of hard work and creative vision with a sample of the student's portfolio on display at ART Station," said Kim Harkins, commercial photography program director at Gwinnett Tech.
Beginning November 7, the featured portfolios will be on display at the Media Gallery on Gwinnett Tech's campus.
The commercial photography program at Gwinnett Tech provides a rich multidisciplinary environment for digital and traditional media instruction, research and practice. The program focuses on the creative potential of each participant and fosters exceptional opportunities for innovative, interdisciplinary exploration of new media and imaging.
Gwinnett Tech offers a two-year Associate in Applied Science Degree which includes a specialization in digital imaging and new media design. Lab and studio areas are equipped with cutting edge digital equipment, like Macintosh computers and Epson printers along with traditional studio equipment and lighting.
