Life Sciences Career Information Sessions Planned at Gwinnett Tech

Learn more about programs, tuition and scholarships available

The Georgia Bioscience Technology Institute at GTC will host informational sessions for those interested in a career in life sciences, offering attendees the chance to learn more about program options, tuition and scholarship opportunities.

Each session will also include presentations on career counseling, advisement and educational strategies for students.

Sessions will be held at Gwinnett Tech, in Room 401, Building 100 on:

• July 8
• Aug. 12
10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.

The Georgia Bioscience Technology Institute (www.gabioscience.org) is a collaboration between Athens Technical College and Gwinnett Technical College to educate and train professionals for careers in the bioscience industry.

Gwinnett Tech offers an associate in applied science degree in bioscience technology and certificate programs for clinical research professionals, bioscience environmental laboratory technologist and bioscience regulatory assurance technologist.

Upon completion of these programs, students will be prepared for careers in a variety of life science fields including bio-manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, research or in environmental labs.
