Gwinnett Tech Students

Leadership Conference promotes personal and professional growth among students through interaction with local business leaders

Gwinnett Technical College will host its annual student leadership conference, entitled "Ignite" on Fri., Feb. 20, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Busbee Center, Building 700.

Participating students will choose from multiple "power sessions" and will interact with a panel of business leaders from Gwinnett County. Panel participants will include Sharon Bartels, president, Gwinnett Tech; Delores Crowell, external affairs manager, Bellsouth; Nancy Quan-Sellers of Galaxy Partners; and Kevin Melendy, president and CEO, Spectral Response.

Gwinnett Tech students and faculty, as well as area high school students involved in the Gwinnett County Public School's technical education program will attend. The free conference is also open to community residents. Seating is limited; advance registration required to Rachel Mariano, rmariano@gwinnetttech.edu.
