Spring Increase is Ninth Quarter of Double-Digit Growth
Enrollment continues to soar at Gwinnett Technical College, with spring quarter enrollment up just over 15 percent as compared to last year. More than 5,400 students started classes on March 30, marking a 15.38 percent increase and the ninth straight quarter of double-digit growth for Gwinnett Tech.
“While we’ve been growing at this rapid pace for over two years now, there’s no question that the challenging job market makes having the right education and skills all the more important – and that can drive enrollment,” explains Sharon Bartels, Gwinnett Tech president.
“Technical colleges have so much to offer students of all ages right now – the latest training for in-demand career sectors, flexible scheduling and affordable tuition. It’s an educational approach that can make a tremendous life difference, and in short order, too,” adds Bartels.
