Gwinnett Tech Interiors Students to Serve as Event Docents
Students Invited to Work with the Pros at The Next Cool Thing
Gwinnett Technical College Interiors students have been chosen to serve as docents for The Next Cool Thing, a three-day Atlanta event held to showcase local arts talent to Georgia’s film industry.
Twenty-four GTC students have been invited to work with To The Trade Only at the event, held Jan. 21 – 23, at 1235 Chattahoochee Avenue in Atlanta, in conjunction with the Georgia Production Partnership. The public is invited to explore hundreds of creative exhibits based on movie or television themes. Designers, builders, architects, artisans, craftsmen and performing artists have collaborated to create the sets and have transformed a 90,000-square-foot warehouse.
Gwinnett Tech's Interiors program offers an associate degree, diploma and certificate in interior design, as well as additional certificate options in painted and faux finishes and in kitchen and bath design. The kitchen and bath design certificate is supported by the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA).
In all, GTC offers more than 45 degree, diploma and certificate program options that you can finish in two years or less. For more information on all programs, visit www.GwinnettTech.edu or call 770-962-7580.
