Senior Leadership Gwinnett Alumni Quotes
"I can't say enough about the GSL program. To have all the programs geared towards seniors was quite beneficial and very informative. Just learning all about Gwinnett County was interesting to me. I made a lot of new friends. And being able to give back to the community with the tools I was given made it a very worthwhile experience. I would highly recommend the time invested in the program." Kathy Gestar (2004)

"For me, the Senior Leadership Gwinnett program was terrific. The opportunity to see a direction of how to use what I learned was as gratifying as any aspect of the program. Add in the new friendships and partners to help build a better community with tools we were given and it was a wonderful experience… well worth the time invested…"
Thor Johnson, (2007) President, Lilburn Business Association

"The Senior Leadership Program was one of the highlights of 2006 - 2007 for me! Each program was different and covered aspects of our community's functions that I was not as familiar with as I should have been. We could feel the incredible amount of work and planning that went into making Leadership an excellent value well worth our time. I have lived in Gwinnett since the mid-seventies and watched it change and grow. This program has given me a better understanding of why these changes occurred and how necessary most are. We got to experience some of the best speakers...well-known citizens who have been here for many years. Their historical perspective was so interesting and informative. The camaraderie and friendships among our group have stayed with me even now. I hope to always stay involved with the program and with my new friends!" Barbara Grastat-Karnitz (2007)
