Outstanding Training Programs

It takes a special kind of person to work in public safety and service. Often first on the scene of accidents, fires or crimes, public safety professionals have to put the needs of the public before their own. Bold and brave, they have to think fast and act faster, often while using complex technology.

Graduates of Gwinnett Tech's public safety and service programs have gone on to exciting and rewarding careers in criminal justice and emergency services in both the public and private sector, working as:

  • Public health official
  • Firefighter
  • Police officer
  • Sheriff's deputy
  • Probation office
  • Correctional officer
  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
  • Paramedic
  • Cyber crime specialist
