Gwinnett Tech Tests Disney Online Recruiting Program

The Walt Disney Company has selected Gwinnett Tech as one of only 90 schools nationwide to pilot a new online presentation for recruiting students to their college internship program.

Gwinnett Tech is now in its second year of a partnership with Disney on the internship program. Thus far, 28 internship opportunities have been extended to Gwinnett Tech students and 17 GTC students have worked in internship positions at the world-famous Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

The new Disney E-presentation provides students greater flexibility by allowing them to view the presentation at their convenience. An online recruiter is also available to answer questions and provide personal attention.

GTC’s Ashley Sliger, a student in the college’s hotel, restaurant and tourism program and a Disney intern, has recently been appointed to serve as the Disney Campus Representative. Ashley will be working closely with the Career Services Center to assist in introducing students to the college internship program and coordinating the on-line presentation.
