I am a potential/current Gwinnett Tech student and have questions regarding Veterans Affairs. Who do I contact?

I have questions in regards to tuition assistance for veterans. Who do I contact?

For Tuition Assistance (TA), students should contact their military unit to complete their contract. Students will submit the contract directly to the Gwinnett Tech Business Office.

What documents do I need to bring to the Gwinnett Tech Veterans Affairs advisor in order to start receiving educational benefits?

Students will need Certificate of Eligibility (Active Duty) or NOBE (Reservist) or both Application for Educational Benefits (22-1990) and DD214(Member 4 copy).

I have been approved for benefits. What do I need to do to renew them for the following semesters?

Submit your certification request form to the Office of Veterans Affairs for certification. Students receiving Chapters 30, 1606 and 1607 are required to verify monthly attendance via WAVE (Web Automated Verification of Enrollment).

I am a returning deployed student. What do I do to reinstate my college career at Gwinnett Tech?

What should I do if I decide to withdraw from a class or change my enrollment?

Meet with the Gwinnett Tech Veterans Affairs Coordinator. Enrollment changes directly affect benefits certification.

What do I do if I am transferring from another institution where I previously received educational benefits?

Complete and Submit VA form 22-1995 for Veterans and 22-5495 for Spouses/Dependents.
