IET Manufacturing Basics – Forklift & Six Sigma Yellow Belt
This training prepares you for an entry-level manufacturing position. Gain knowledge in manufacturing organizational processes like Six Sigma + Lean while getting your Forklift Certification making you ready for one of the most in-demand jobs in Georgia.
Forklift Overview:
Get certified and meet OSHA requirements.
Trains you on the skill set required to operate industrial forklift trucks. GTC’s course meets all regulatory requirements and standards for the safe operation of forklift trucks. Upon completion of training, you will be able to operate a forklift as well as be able to explain how to perform all the duties for the safe operation of a lift truck.
Six Sigma Yellow Belt:
Participants earn a Six Sigma designation for use in becoming a valuable organizational resource for Six Sigma project teams and other improvement activities. Participants will have a fundamental knowledge of Six Sigma concepts, practices, techniques and tools upon completion of this training.
Career Readiness Training Overview:
Learn the essential skills needed in order to acquire, maintain, and grow within a company. Key topics are communication, critical thinking, emotional intelligence and time management.
All materials provided, no book/material purchase required.
Must be 18 years of age or older to take this class
Important:
- Qualifications: All candidates must complete an Adult Education registration, apply for funding and take the Tests of Adult Basic Education (TABE) Test in order to be eligible.
- Instructional Format: Hybrid Online and In-Classroom/Field.
Our 1-week program will take place Monday, May 22 – Thursday, May 25, 2023.
Trainings will be held Monday from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. and Tuesday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
