Registration is from August 19 to September 30.
Introduces the student to the role and responsibilities of the Nurse Aide. Emphasis is placed on understanding and developing critical thinking skills, as well as demonstrating knowledge of the location and function of the human body systems and common disease processes, responding to and reporting changes in a resident’s condition.
Specific topics include: roles and responsibility of the Nurse Aide; communication and interpersonal skills; topography, structure and function of the body systems; injury.
Important:
Our 8-week program will restart in January 2025 and will take place Monday & Wednesday 8:30am – 3:30pm and Tuesday & Thursday, 9:00 am to 2:30 p.m. A detailed schedule breakdown will be discussed during the invite-only information session upon successful completion of the TABE Test and pre-registration process.
