Gwinnett Technical College Earns National Recognition for Veterans Services

GWINNETT – NORTH FULTON – Gwinnett Technical College has once again been recognized as one of the best in the nation. The College has earned significant national recognition for its outstanding Veterans Services in Military Friendly® magazine.

Military Friendly® released their Military Times Best: Colleges 2022-2023 rankings, and Gwinnett Tech is ranked fourth among large community colleges in the nation for its commitment to education and providing opportunities to America’s veterans, service members, and their families.

“Our office is deeply committed to helping veterans repurpose their military training and skills into lucrative careers in both public and private sectors,” stated Travis Simpson, coordinator of Gwinnett Tech’s Office of Veterans Affairs.

Institutions earning the Military Friendly® Schools Awards designation were evaluated using public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. Over 1,800 schools participated in the 2022-2023 survey, 665 schools earned awards level designations in Gold, Silver, and Bronze. 282 were selected for “Gold” award status for their leading practices, outcomes, and effective programs.
