Student Success Workshops

Gwinnett Technical College students are invited to attend Student Success Workshops throughout the year.  We create sessions to help you in life, school, and your future career. If you join us in person you will have a chance to ask questions, interact with fellow students and possibly meet a new friend.  We provide either snacks or a lunch, and a chance to win door prizes.  A variety of topics are offered which we continually update and change to meet your needs. Join us to learn, laugh and grow!

New Student Orientation

Are you looking to take your first step as a student at Gwinnett Technical College? Then register for one of our upcoming New Student Orientation sessions. These sessions will give you the opportunity to learn more about Registration, Financial Aid, College Expectations and various Campus Resources. Enrollment Advisors will also be available to answer program-specific questions. New Student Orientation is the place where vision is cast and student success is maximized.

Academic Coaching

Academic Coaching is offered to students who wish to obtain strategies in areas such as: study skills, time management, stress management, balanced life, motivation, encouragement, test anxiety, communicating effectively and much more. We are here to listen and connect you to various campus resources that will help you in your academic journey. If you have hit a roadblock or experienced an obstacle in your education, we are available to offer sound advice and support.

Our Purpose

Our goal is to support the advancement of knowledge and perseverance of Gwinnett Technical College students during their educational journey.
