The graduates, adorned in their caps and gowns, represented a tapestry of dreams, aspirations, and hard work. Each student’s journey is unique, from computer science to culinary arts, healthcare to engineering. As graduates crossed the stage, they carried the knowledge, skills, and determination to shape their futures.

Despite facing numerous challenges, these graduates demonstrated resilience, determination, and unwavering commitment to their education. Many juggled full-time jobs, family responsibilities, and financial hardships while pursuing their studies. Their perseverance culminated in a triumphant walk across the graduation stage, symbolizing their readiness for successful careers and entrepreneurial ventures.

Addressing the graduates, Dr. Cannon stated, “Graduates, you have shown incredible resilience and determination. They have faced and overcome challenges that would have deterred many. Their success today is a testament to their unwavering commitment to their education and future.“

Dr. Cannon continued, “The journey to graduation is not one taken alone. It is a collective effort supported by family, friends, faculty, and the community. Today, we celebrate not just the achievements of our graduates, but also the support systems that have helped them reach this milestone.”

While some graduates will immediately enter the workforce, others will continue their education through transfer agreements with other colleges and universities in Georgia. Gwinnett Tech, accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, offers twenty-one programs with industry-specific accreditations. Many of these programs rank among the top ten educational offerings in the nation.
