Enrollment Achievement

  • Gwinnett Technical College is the state’s second-largest technical college, serving more than 22,000 students annually in college credit courses, adult education, and continuing education.
  • Gwinnett Tech reached record-breaking enrollment, with more than 15,600 students earning college credit in 2025.
  • More than 2,800 high school students enrolled in Dual Enrollment last year.
  • The Continuing Education Division provided customized training options to more than 5,000 students last year, plus a myriad of businesses.
  • As one of the state’s largest providers of GED preparation and ESL classes, Gwinnett Tech served over 3,000 students last year throughout Gwinnett and North Fulton counties.
  • Gwinnett Tech conferred 5,474 degrees, diplomas, and certificates in 2025.

Students Achievement

  • Seven students represented Gwinnett Tech at the 2025 National SkillsUSA competition. Three students placed, including two who won gold medals.
  • The Student Government Association was named Georgia Chapter of the Year.
  • The Student Government Association received Student of the Year.
  • Gwinnett Tech chapter for SkillsUSA received the Chapter of Excellence Program gold-level.
  • Thomas Schoolcraft was named Gwinnett Technical College’s 2025 Georgia’s Occupational Award of Leadership (GOAL) winner.
  • Adult Education student Logan Hawkins was named Gwinnett Technical College’s 2025 Exceptional Adult Georgian in Literacy Education (EAGLE) winner.

Renowned Programs with Tradition of Excellence

  • Gwinnett Tech was ranked #5 in the nation for services to Veterans by Military Friendly.
  • The Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care reaffirmed the Respiratory Therapy program in AY25, marking the 12th consecutive year it has received this honor.
  • The Surgical Technology program celebrated its 13th consecutive year with a 100% pass rate record on the Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) exam.
  • The Cardiovascular Technology program celebrated its 12th consecutive year with a 100% pass rate on the Cardiovascular Credentialing International exam.
  • The Radiologic Technology program celebrated its Ninth consecutive year with a 100% pass rate on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification exam.
  • Nine programs celebrated a 100% pass rate on their national board exams. 
  • Automotive Technology was reaffirmed by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) in 2025.
  • Cardiovascular Technology was reaffirmed by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) in 2025.
  • Commercial Construction Management was reaffirmed by the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) in 2025.
  • Gwinnett Technical College was validated as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity by the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education (DHS-NSA) in 2025.
  • Dental Assisting was reaffirmed by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association (CODA) in 2025.
  • Echocardiography Technology was reaffirmed by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) in 2025.
  • All Registered Nursing Programs were reaffirmed by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) in 2025.
  • Humanities Program Director Mohamed Belal was named the Gwinnett Tech 2025 Rick Perkins Award winner.

Giving Back

  • The Gwinnett Tech Foundation raised more than seven hundred thousand dollars through cases, pledge payments, gifts-in-kind, and scholarships during AY25.
    • The Gwinnett Tech Foundation helped more than 770 students last year, providing scholarships and financial assistance.
    • Over 240 scholarships were awarded to students in the academic year 2025.
  • Gwinnett Tech students, staff & faculty came together to assemble over 12,000 meals for people in need.
  • Gwinnett Tech Student Ambassadors volunteered for 80 events on campus to support fellow students and the community.
  • Gwinnett Tech Student Life provided 495 opportunities and served 29,264 students. 
  • Gwinnett Tech clubs volunteered with Toys for Tots, Northeast Georgia Homeless Veterans Shelter, Atlanta AI Week & Gwinnett County Mobile Food Distribution
  • Gwinnett Tech students beautified the campus with trail clean-up, tree mulching, and bird and bat house projects.
