Gwinnett Tech’s Interiors program will build upon your natural flare with a solid interior design education. Students are given the knowledge and training to begin successful careers in the field of interior design. The program includes courses in interiors and college-level general education courses.

About

You will take courses in the principles and elements of design, textiles, history of architecture and furniture, drafting, perspective drawing, lighting, AutoCAD, Revit, codes, materials use, business and internship. You will also become involved in the design community immediately, and hands-on projects will allow you to experience your design talents.

Can I work while I learn?

Class schedules are designed to encourage student employment in the Interiors industry while taking classes. Students will also participate in an internship to gain real-world experience.

What does an Interior Designer do?

Interior designers make interior spaces functional, safe, and beautiful by determining space requirements and selecting decorative items, such as colors, lighting and materials. They read blueprints and must be aware of building codes and inspection regulations, as well as universal accessibility standards.

How much will it cost?

Gwinnett Tech offers affordability at $107 per credit hour + fees. Great opportunities for scholarships and financial aid with HOPE Grant, HOPE scholarship, HOPE Career Grants and more!
