Gwinnett Technical College is proud to offer scholarships to our students through the generous
support of the Gwinnett Tech Foundation and our charitable donors. Scholarships are a form of
financial aid that do not require repayment, and they are awarded based on specific eligibility
criteria-which may or may not include financial need.
Scholarship funds can be used to cover a wide range of educational expenses, including tuition,
books, and supplies.
Important Note: If you are receiving funding through the Workforce Opportunity Investment
Act (WOIA), being awarded a scholarship may affect the amount of WOIA funds available to you.
Application Deadlines
- Fall Semester: March 1 – March 31
- Spring Semester: September 1 – September 30
Scholarship applications are submitted through the Gwinnett Tech Foundation. Students will be
notified of their application status via their student email account, and can also check updates
at gwinnetttech.awardspring.com.
To apply, students must be currently enrolled and attending classes during the semester for
which the scholarship is offered. The online application system will match you with scholarships
based on the information you provide.
Please Note: Applying for a scholarship does not guarantee an award. The process is
competitive, so be sure to:
- Complete your application thoroughly
- Check for spelling and grammar errors
- Thoughtfully respond to all essay questions
