From building new homes to preparation for leadership positions, Gwinnett Tech’s Residential Carpentry and Construction Management program prepares you with a strong skill set to flourish in a wide range of construction careers.

This program includes a sequence of courses that prepare the student for careers in new home construction and the remodeling industries.

Students learn safe building practices and receive hands-on experience learning skills needed in residential building construction while developing skills in problem solving, teamwork, and communication.

These programs add technical applications in estimating, scheduling, contracts, building design, and residential building codes, as well as college-level general education courses

Can I work while I learn?

Class schedules are designed to encourage student employment in the residential carpentry industry while taking classes.
