Can I work while I learn?
Class schedules are designed to encourage student employment in the early childhood education industry while taking classes. Part of your coursework will include directly working with children in a local childcare, preschool, or elementary school.
What can I expect from the Early Childhood program?
The Early Childhood Care and Education degree is a sequence of courses designed to prepare students for careers in early childhood care and education, as well as other related fields. This hands-on program immerses students in the early childhood care and education field, where they strive to or currently work in early childhood. The degree consists of two field experiences, including a 75-hour practicum and a 425-hour internship, both located in a local childcare center or elementary school system. Students who currently work in an early childhood education setting may be able to complete their hours at their job site upon program director’s approval.
How much will it cost?
