Gwinnett Technical College Earns National Recognition for Veterans Services

GWINNETT –Gwinnett Technical College is once again being recognized as one of the best in the nation. The College has earned national recognition for its outstanding Veterans Services in Military Friendly® magazine.

Military Friendly® released their Military Times Best: Colleges 2023-2024 rankings, and Gwinnett Tech is ranked fifth among large community colleges in the nation for its commitment to education and providing opportunities to America’s veterans, service members, and their families. This accomplishment marks the third consecutive year Gwinnett Tech has ranked in the Top 5 nationwide.

Methodology, criteria, and weightings were determined by Viqtory with input from the Military Friendly® Advisory Council of independent leaders in the higher education and military recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combining the institution’s survey scores with the assessment of the institution’s ability to meet thresholds for Student Retention, Graduation, Job Placement, Loan Repayment, Persistence (Degree Advancement or Transfer), and Loan Default rates for all students and, specifically, for student veterans.
