Grant Assistance

Emergency Grants for Tuition and Fees

Student Assistance through the Gwinnett Tech Foundation provides financial support to current students at risk of being unable to complete their education due to financial hardship.

The Foundation plays an important role in alleviating barriers to student’s ability to complete their education. We are committed to removing barriers to higher education by providing scholarships and other assistance to students who face financial hardships while completing their course of study.

Students can only receive funds through the Foundation one time for tuition and fees.

Qualifications:
• Students must be currently enrolled at Gwinnett Technical College.
• Students must have completed the required Gwinnett Tech credit hours specified by each grant.
• Students must be able to obtain a referral letter of recommendation from a Gwinnett Tech faculty or staff member before applying.

Application Deadline:
Completed applications must be submitted at least seven business days before the “Final Registration Payment Deadline.”

Unexpected Expenses

Emergency Assistance funds are available to help current students at risk of being unable to complete their education due to financial hardship.

The Foundation is committed to removing barriers to higher education.

A student can receive financial support only once through the emergency grant fund for a specific hardship. Funds are limited to the guidelines and restrictions of each grant and will be paid directly to a vendor. Applications are accepted year-round.
